Indian Constitution plays an important role behind the Independence of India. India will be celebrating its 74th adopted from the Republic Day this year. After gaining the Independence on 15th August, 1947 against the colonial rules, British government, India did not have its own Constitution. There was a common law system of the ”Government of India Act, 1935” and this law was brought in by the British government. Then a Draft Committee was given the responsibility to draft the Indian Constitution with the help of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Indian Constitution was finally read on 26th November, 1949 and this day is celebrated as ”Constitution Day”. The Constitution was turned on two months later 26th January, 1950 and this day is celebrated every year as the ”Republic Day” to live with our head held high.
